Agricultural Equipment Service Technicians

LDI is seeking motivated Service Technicians to join our team. This individual will analyze, service, and repair agriculture machinery/equipment including tractors, combines, sprayers, planting, tillage, and hay equipment. Four years progressive experience in farm equipment service operations is preferred. Ideally, someone that is mechanically inclined and is passionate about fixing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems. A successful Service Technician will have strong attention to detail, self-motivated, efficient and well-versed in all maintenance and repairs. LDI is seeking a diligent and hardworking Field Service Technician to repair agriculture machinery and spray equipment in the field and on demand. Must have the ability to determine appropriate repairs and parts needs to successfully complete the work order with minimal supervision from the Service Manager. A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and an extensive knowledge of agricultural equipment is required. LDI is seeking a detailed and organized individual for lawn and garden equipment repair and maintenance, equipment detailing, and lot maintenance. A successful candidate for this position takes pride in the quality of their work, is detail oriented, and self-motivated. The primary duties include repair and maintenance of lawn and garden equipment, small engine repair, washing and cleaning of machinery and equipment, mowing and trimming greenspaces, keeping grounds free of litter, shelving parts, and general maintenance work. LDI is a growing AGCO dealer and is currently seeking a Precision Ag Specialist to cover our Western Kansas territory. A successful candidate will be highly motivated, competitive, and energetic. This person will represent the company for the sale, training, and customer service of aftermarket and OEM systems. This position will provide training, customer support and service to internal staff and customers and owner/operators on Precision Farm Equipment and products. Our Precision Ag Specialist must have extensive knowledge of agricultural equipment and precision technology, excellent customer relation and organization skills, be computer literate and be able to work flexible hours and have a clean driving record. Extensive travel is required during peak seasons. Bachelor or technical degree is preferred. INTERNSHIP PROGRAM INFORMATION

LDI offers summer internships across the state of Kansas. The internship program is designed to provide students with an opportunity to gain valuable work experience, while applying academic knowledge and skills in an agriculture dealership. Internships may not be just a summer job, but could lead to a sustainable career. You will have an opportunity to develop your skills and learn more about the individual careers in a dealership.

Eligibility: A candidate must be enrolled as a full-time student in a technical college, community college or university or technical program.

Freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students are eligible.

General Information: Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week, during an 8 to 12 week internship period, mid-May to mid-August. Interns may receive academic credit if an agreement is made between LDI and the intern's educational institution. All interns are subject to the applicable LDI employee rules as stated in the LDI Employee Manual.

  • Financial assistance for both tuition and tools for qualified students entering a two-year diesel tech program
  • Must be willing to commit to a 36-month work term post-graduation.
  • LDI will purchase the standard toolbox and tools listed on the program’s recommended tool list, up to $10,000​
  • For semesters 2 - 4, LDI will pay up to 100% of student's tuition depending on student's GPA​
  • Scholarship program is available to students attending a two-year diesel tech program only
  • If a student has started a two-year program, they are not eligible for the tool portion of the program, but eligible for the tuition portion if they have not started their final semester​
